Prime Minister Aso visited Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, as part of "shuttle diplomacy". The Prime Minister attended a luncheon hosted by four major economic associations of the ROK, and a meeting with President Lee and business figures from Japan and the ROK, which was held at Cheong Wa Dae.
On Monday, January 12, Prime Minister Aso held a summit meeting with President Lee.The leaders held a joint press conference after the meeting.
