Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended the 11th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM 11), which was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on July 15 and July 16.
At the Summit Meeting, Prime Minister Abe spoke about Japan’s position on common issues for both Asia and Europe such as terrorism, the global economy and regional affairs.
Prime Minister Abe also held bilateral meetings with the leaders of Mongolia, Germany, Bangladesh, China, the EU, Vietnam and Cambodia, and received a courtesy call from the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, and frank exchanges of views took place.
